Dr. Harr is board certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
As an undergraduate he attended Penn. State University receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree - Premedicine in 1974. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1979. He was inducted as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in 1979, graduating in the top 10% of his medical school class.
He attended the University of Virginia completing his Internal Medicine internship and residency program in 1982 and his Dermatology residency program in 1985.
Dr. Harr joined Dermatology Inc. of Virginia Beach in 1985 and is in his 24th year of private practice. He is a past president of the Tidewater Dermatology Society and was named in Hampton Roads Magazine as one of the area's top dermatologists by his peers in 2007-2008.
Dr. Harr's interests include general medical and cosmetic dermatology. He has a special interest in dermatologic manifestations of systemic disease.
